Headstones

Please note that installation season for headstones resumes in May 2024.

Weather permitting, we will begin placing stones on the grave in the Spring.

If your headstone has been delivered to the cemetery, please ensure that your installation fee has been paid for.

Please note that between April 2024 - October 2024, spring decor regulations are in effect.

Spring cleanup begins towards the end of March - the cemetery is not responsible for items removed during cleanup.

A HISTORIC CEMETERY

Trinity Cemetery was established in 1868 by the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. It is one of the oldest operating cemeteries in the city of Detroit.

Located in the Butzel-Kettering neighborhood, we proudly serve our local community and surrounding neighborhoods of Detroit. The grounds of Trinity Cemetery mark the final resting place of family, friends, and veterans from the city of Detroit.
